The Town of Estes Park and the Estes Park Economic Development Corporation are creating an economic development strategy for the Estes Valley.

The purpose is to map out a plan for generating long-term economic prosperity for Estes Park and the surrounding region.

In order for this to work, the public must be actively engaged in helping to determine the proper strategy.

The best – and easiest – way for the community to get involved is by taking 10 minutes to complete an online survey. The survey, and planning process, is being facilitated by Avalanche Consulting.

The survey can be found online at This link will also be provided on the Town of Estes Park website homepage at You can also copy and paste the Survey Monkey URL into your Internet browser.

The deadline for completing the survey in March 13, 2015. The final results of the survey will be aggregated and shared back with the community within six weeks of the deadline.

All individual responses will be kept in strict confidentiality and viewed only by Avalanche Consulting. Avalanche’s work is being funded by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
